Bookmark this thread and see me in 45 days. Romney will WIN!!! The media controls the polls and as we know love Obama socialist goals. But that will not be enough to save the Democrats since true loving Americans will show up in masses to vote the commie out. I am not worried a bit. Good Luck and God Bless America!!
Thanks for the clarification. I thought that was what you meant. That’s encouraging.
Romney was NEVER the Tea Party favorite. I don’t know where you got it that that was what I was implying. But, what kind of deal can you make me on that swamp land??? I’d like to go into raising alligators.
I am taping political shows now but I don’ dare watch them. I call them my “timecapsule tapes”. I am saving them for after Romney wins the elections.
I will watch them then and then laugh at how stupid and clueless the lamestream media and pundits were.
I dunno, jocon307. I'm thinkin' a get-up for a Halloween party? A terrific amateur upload putting pics to a fantastic song. I commented on it about 4 years ago under the video in the youtube comments...GaltP
Glad you enjoyed it. It's one of my all-time favorites.
One good turn deserves another. Here is the link to one of my fave youtubes. If you don’t like Star Trek (or drinking!) you might not like it at all, liking Ke$ha’s song seems not to be required. I think it is very well done.

I hope you do like it!
WOW! Thanks, jocon307! That is FANTASTIC! There are certainly some talented people out there. BUMP for the Romney thread and that youtube video!
:) we were speaking at cross purposes
LOL, so glad you liked it! That’s one I’ve watched over and over.
“I dont know about 60% of the vote, with 47% of the population directly benefitting from government largesse.”
Too many of them used to work, and have discretionary funds to buy what they wanted. Few people envy the urban underclass; I don’t think the “new” people in that situation are happy about it. Obama will not win votes from many of them, as long as they can remember the “before-times”.
“So, why cant TEA Party people support him?”
You’re right; they are a fiscal, not social, conservative group. I remember that a number of them were Dems when it started; issues like abortion/gay marriage weren’t discussed. I think a lot of social conservatives assumed that people that want “their country back” meant it on all topics, not just the fiscal issues.
“No rational person thinks Obama is going to lose Ill.”
Obama seems to be thinking about it; he has scheduled bus tour stops in IL.
It might be wishful thinking, but he might just be trying to save face by not losing his home state in a landslide of epic proportions.
“I forgot about Toomey and didnt know about an R governor!”
Here in NJ we got an “R” governor (a fiscal conservative) one year after Obama won NJ in 2008. The northeast has been hit hard by the depression (between the job losses and the already-high taxes), and voters will certainly be more discerning this time around. Obama will have to work (and spend) to keep them in his column - things are really bad here.
“things are really bad here”
I hate that for the good folks of NJ and send my sincere wish that things get better soon.
Thanks; we’re trying. Under Gov. Christie’s property tax cap we’ve definitely reduced our public employee workforce. The infrastructure is crumbling, but at least we’re not being pushed into foreclosures as we were before (the annual tax increases were crushing, and I’m sure will keep property values low here - especially since many decent jobs left).
I am sure the stops are fundraising.
“I am sure the stops are fundraising.”
Maybe; candidates don’t usually use the bus for that.
Obama has no worries about Ill.
