LOL! I can just see that happening! We had a cat that liked to get to boxes and shopping bags etc. and pee. One day after doing his favorite thing he got his head through the shopping bag handles and instead of backing out he raced forward. The rustling of the paper scared him even more and before we could catch him he had bounced off of several walls and a few pieces of furniture. I was afraid he had broken his neck or cracked his skull but after a few minutes he was OK.

In my teen years and into my 20's I had a pet dog named C'llide. He was exceptionally intelligent but a little high-strung. One rainy day one of my parents had leaned a (closed) umbrella with a hook handle against the wall next to a glass patio door. That door was C'llide's window on the world, and he'd lay in front of it to scan the yard for squirrels, and if he saw one, and we'd let him out, he'd be like a missile, flying off the back porch headed for the rodent, a number of which met their demise at C'llides jaws over the years.

Anyways, C'llide saw something outside that got him agitated and he began barking and hopping around. As fate would have it, he knocked the umbrella over in just such a manner that the hook handle got caught under his collar. He made a little tug to get away from it, but the second he realized it was "following" him, he made a mad dash to get away from it.

Needless to say, the umbrella "chased" him under the dining room table, where it caught on a chair or table leg and opened the umbrella. Now, not only was C'llide being chased by a strange entity, it had grown in size and was getting closer, so he ran hell for leather through the house trying to get away from his pursuer, and in doing so, knocked over a fish bowl, several potted plants and their plant stands, and God only knows what else. Every time he speeded up, so did that damned umbrella!

He’s very “spayshul” and commits random acts of massive stupidity all the time.

[bless his heart]
