The New York Times ran 47 front page stories on Abu Ghraib
- including 32 days in a row on the front page,
only burying the 'story' when it was proven that the GI's involved did not act on orders.
BUSH's FAULT!
...buried on page seven ... was a Times article entitled "At Abuse Hearing, No Testimony That G.I.'s Acted on Orders."
Contrast that with Benghazi.
1 time the story was on the front page (2 days later).
1 time the story was 'referred to', almost as a historical reference.
A FILM's Fault!

The US doesn’t have a free press.
The NYT is Taliban owned.
The New York Times has decided that this is not a story.
After all, this could hurt Obama's re-election chances... this is precisely what happened to Carter.
Obama is refusing to answer questions, the State Department will whitewash it as much as possible.
The complicit media will make sure that this story goes away very quickly.
As far as the New York Times goes, it already has been buried.
“Do you regret sneaking into the prison and directing the atrocities in the hopes of embarrassing the president?—I mean, dear God governor! Does your racist hate have no boundaries?!?!?”

[Not on Front Page!]
Benghazi was front page news once, and a historical reference on the front page once.
Abu Ghraib:
Abu Ghraib images in the New York Times
Benghazi
Benghazi images in the New York Times
-------------------------------------------------------
The story told by the images makes Abu Ghraib look far worse...
They published the very worst they could get their hands on.
The images for Benghazi are totally sanitized and do not show anything that bad.
The cover image that accompanied the Benghazi story shows a solemn Obama and Hillary. (see the covers above)
Never in my life, not once, not ever, have I looked to the Nyet to find out the truth about anything. Ever.
Really? When I see a shooting or other "breaking news" event, I usually jump right o FreeRepublic to get the real story.
I find that Freepers are so far ahead of the media on reporting accurately, that I hardly even bother listening to the "talking heads" on the TV, except to witness the spin they attempt to put o it.
WE have been so far ahead on this story the news can’t keep up with US. I think we actually nailed the entire thing within the first 24 hours. I lnow we worked our butts off on TM.
Romney doesn’t need to change his campaign staff. He just needs an honest press.
Thanks Bon mots.
What’s the count now for all the scandals?
