If you missed Greta tonight, you might want to catch it on the rerun. Newt, as only he can, eviscerated Obama, Hillary, and Susan Rice on Greta tonight.
I won’t watch O’Reilly any more. He gives too much deference to obama. Hannity has been doing some of his best work ever since the story broke. He has been on the case since the Muslim Brotherhood took over.
Mitt Romney will never have the political, and historical knowledge that Gingrich has. No one in the Republican Party has the ability to articulate a message as well as Gingrich and no one in the current party has done more for conservatives than Gingrich. His resume says he should be the nominee.
Mittens better dump that Steve fellow that is his campaign mgr, from what I hear, friends or not and get “series and hugh” as we say here on FR about this upcoming election. Take off the gloves and start telling the USA WHAT he will do different. We all know this clown in the WH is a dangerous person but those mushy independents need to be hit upside the head to vote for mittens, I guess.
Newt is such a courageous man. Remember when he kept congress in session during the wee hours of the morning..drafting the contract? he did not cave...the govt shut down and the republicans won one of the biggest victories in my life time. I am ashamed of the establishment for forgetting the immense accomplishments of the speaker.
As for the crisis facing our country in the middle east..Newt knows more than the majority of pols would learn in a lifetime. I admire him even more than I thought possible for coming to MO to help raise funds for Akin. God be with the wonderful Speaker and with Todd Akin.”
Needs repeating........ I DO remember his courage, then I also remember the GOP took him down. AAAAAAAAACH. We needed a tea party back then. Also, I did not know he went to MO to raise money for Akin. Was that after Akin blabbed that statement? I DO hope Akin wins. I am sick that the GOP folks including mittens dumped on Akin. Yes he should not have said that, but get over it. Claire needs to go.
Newt is coming to MO on Sept. 24th to host a fundraiser for Akin. He blasted Rove over the murder comment and he went after the GOP for dumping Akin. Cheers to the Speaker.
WaterWeWaitinFor...the gop road on Newt’s back during the time he lead the gop revolution. Today they all try to take credit for it but we know the truth. Reagan loved Newt and Newt was tea party before it became popular.
I agree! Newt Gingrich has a tremendous memory of historical facts. Romney says he's for 100% of the people; he could prove it by hiring Newt to help with his debate prep.
From the right, yes. The left is already so in our faces they can see out the back of our heads!
you are so corect!! I have always admired Newtster and HE WAS my first choice.
Mittens ripped Newt in FL and everyone in the GOPe dumped on him, too.
Thanks onyx. It is very refreshing to see and hear The Speaker speak the truth. Romney needs Newt on his campaign to set the records straight on all of the lies and distortions. He is very good at that.
Yes. I just watched, too.
Romney NEEDS Newt.
Waiting to see if he’s big enough to bring him on.
” I agree! Newt Gingrich has a tremendous memory of historical facts. Romney says he’s for 100% of the people; he could prove it by hiring Newt to help with his debate prep. “
Romney should hire Newt right away.
Romney should hire Newt right away, but he has that Rob Porter, who’s been in that role for McCain and Bush.
Worked really well for McCain against the Marxist. /s
Thanks for the link.
” Romney should hire Newt right away, but he has that Rob Porter, whos been in that role for McCain and Bush.”
I would think Romney would be smarter than this. However, he may indeed be smarter....” keep your enemies closer”
I think what really brought down Newt was Rush Limbaugh, who never seemed to like him much to begin with and then took that Bain ad and ran with it, announcing that Gingrich was “opposed to capitalism” for questioning Romney’s business ethics.
This was after personal attacks on Gingrich from the Romney campaign and the fact that Romney was presenting himself as a “small businessman,” implying that he was just a little Mormon mom and pop operation selling bottled water somewhere in the Utah desert and not part of a rather savage venture (vulture) capital firm founded by a group of already wealthy young B-school grads.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but it clearly means that Romney’s life experience is different from that of most people and that he should have been honest about it. This same issue is still plaguing him, and has nothing to do with Gingrich.
But I swear Rush sometimes only half-hears things and he simply gets them wrong, says something off the top of his head, and then will never admit that it was a mistake and only ups the volume. He was the one who really destroyed Gingrich among conservatives and gave the Dems another, completely misleading way to attack Newt.
In 2020, the next time the POTUS will not be running an incumbent (assuming VP Paul Ryan doesn’t run) a Palin-Gingrich ticket would probably work out pretty well.
I agree; was just talking to a friend about Newt the other day and that Romney really needs to have him on his Cabinet, preferably as Secretary of State. He'd be superb and just what America needs to fix all of Hitlery's mess.
