They put Chinese made windows on the Federal building in San Francisco and they are putting Chinese made steel on the new section of the Bay Bridge. It would be impossible to build anything without using some Chinese made goods

Cheap imports of anything that we American peasants can use to build our homes or enrich our lives with (Chinese PV modules, Canadian lumber, etc.) are taxed, tariff’d, dutied and/or banned. Most everything else from overseas is “free market.” New, small manufacturing starts by peasants are outlawed on local levels by local people of both political parties.
The economic slide will continue, until new, post-default leadership gets it right.
