I hate it when that happens.
Essentially. They're used in the cordless models for field quartering elk, etc.
Rocky Top Ripper Reciprocating Saw Blades Converts standard reciprocating saw into meat saw
Three-blade set .063"-thick steel Turn any reciprocating saw into a venison-processor's best friend. This three-pack includes 12", 9" and 6" blades. The 12" blade is ideal for elk, moose, bison and other big jobs. The all-around 9" blade is great for deer, hogs and antelope. Take the 6" blade into the field to clear shooting lanes and limbs from around the stand. All have a reverse-tooth design that displaces bone and meat away from the saw for nearly effortless cutting. They're made of .063"-thick steel, making them the strongest replacement blades on the market. Fit all popular brands of reciprocating saws.
Cabela's. Other places have same or similar.
Well, Jael the wife of Heber drove a tent spike through Sisera’s head while he was asleep.
See Judges 4.

A Washington state woman accused of trying to decapitate her sleeping husband with an electric saw was convicted Thursday of attempted murder.
Jurors needed only about three hours to reach a verdict in the trial of Renee Bishop-McKean of Everett. They also convicted the 44-year-old woman of first-degree assault for hitting the man in the head with a hatchet and mallet.

The woman, who did not testify, shook her head in disagreement when the verdicts were announced.
Bishop-McKean faces at least 15 years in prison at sentencing set for Oct. 4.

Seriously, has this ever worked?

Not for me ;-)
Another recent amateur butcher mailed body parts to various recipients around Canada. This was possibly done without a profit motive, as a quick search of eBay does not reveal a thriving market for decapitated human heads.
It could be, however, that this woman had insider information on an emerging market and was a-head of the curve.
"snicker"

Superior Court Judge Eric Lucas supported the prosecution's sentencing recommendation for 44-year-old Renee Bishop-McKean. She was convicted last month of attempted first-degree murder.
The judge said Thursday it was clear to him that the woman made an attempt on her husband's life. The Daily Herald reports that Lucas also said he was convinced Bishop-McKean suffered from either a "mental disturbance" or "some kind of brain injury."

They don’t call them ‘Sawzalls’ for no reason!
She never saw that coming.
