Gotta wonder if the NFL will abandon network TV coverage and DirecTV's Sunday Ticket and go it alone on cable/sat and eliminate the middle man from their cash cow next time around for TV negotiations.

Streaming video offers a whole new world of opportunity. Who needs cable even? Probably in 10 years hardly anyone will have that anymore anyway. I frankly considered cutting it a year ago and went all internet streaming: Netflix for movies and older stuff and Hulu Plus for newer stuff. That's a total of $16 a month plus the internet costs. I didn't do it for primarily one reason: sports. If I could direct stream the NFL and MLB (really just the Phillies) I'd probably go ahead and cut the cable.

I find they are generally available from sites in Europe associated with gambling. Not that I'd recommend anyone watch them.....
