Nobody had any idea he was hoarding gold? Whose business would it possibly be? What a typically governmental attitude.

That is probably more gold than what is left at Fort Knox.

“At least you don’t have 12 relatives fighting,” Glover told the Appeal

What a disgusting attitude.

The use of the phrase "hoarding" is pretty offensive. It's nobody's business what the man chose as he means of saving the valuable product of his labor.

Harry Reid will soon visit his long lost brother from another mother hoping to help with the passing of the gold to his relative.

The real tragedy is that the man died and no one missed him for over a month. I fear this will become more and more common.
And of course the leftist apparachiks read this story and think what a tragedy it is that they did not have a full accounting of his assets.

"You won’t find any bank statements either. I’ve heavily invested in gold, which I’ve buried in several different locations around Pawnee. Or have I?”

“That’s decoy gold. You think I’d leave my gold in a locked safe buried underground where anyone could find it? You don’t know me at all.”

“One thing I promised myself when I buried gold in my backyard was that I would never be a hoarder or a miser about it.”

This whole article is a hit piece for those who have the prudence to stock up, arm themselves, spend wisely, prepare for the worst, and stay the hell away from the government.

I’ll bet there was more gold and cash before this article was printed.

Also, whose business is it, anyway, that the man was buying gold and keeping cash on hand? When did that become newsworthy? He was a private citizen. And note the repeated references to “hoarding.” Trying to demonize the man and anyone like him who have the audacity to keep to themselves and keep what is theirs.

HOW DARE this private Citizen HAVE ANY sort of PRIVATE PROPERTY?

Didn’t he know that he belongs to the state and as such is state property?

This smells like a hit piece against people who hoard, stock up or dare to keep something for themselves and refuses to partake of the new order of redistribution.

The Obama regime is all about knocking down the achievers to the same level as the ones on entitlements, so everyone gets their “fair” shot.
