Social liberals are left wingers.
You keep equating pro-freedom and liberty with “social liberal”. I think you may very well be “stuck on stupid”.
I understand that’s your opinion, but I was wondering what actually backs up that bright line distinction? What about people who care about some of the social issues, but not others? Also left wingers? I have a hard time calling someone who favors limited government interference in our day to day lives a left winger just because they don’t really care about the social issues. To me they’re just not social conservatives. To take an absurd example, what about a socially conservative communist or socialist? Surely that would not be a right winger in your opinion.
