I understand that’s your opinion, but I was wondering what actually backs up that bright line distinction? What about people who care about some of the social issues, but not others? Also left wingers? I have a hard time calling someone who favors limited government interference in our day to day lives a left winger just because they don’t really care about the social issues. To me they’re just not social conservatives. To take an absurd example, what about a socially conservative communist or socialist? Surely that would not be a right winger in your opinion.

I think he means libertines are not conservatives. Which they are not.

Without social conservatism, there cannot be conservatism.

We did great for many years in America as long as were socon, but liberalism destroyed out fabric and created a shattered, dependent society of strangers.

The more social liberalism, then the greater need of more government.

Social liberalism is what destroyed us and brought the government into our lives.
