Semper Fi, Brother! Thank you and your family for your outstanding service to our Nation! Please add me to your ping list - one of my jobs during college was working in a home wine-making retail store. I specialized in beers and have brewed some pretty nice Ales in my time. Also have done some hard cider. My product was more like a wine than cider - I used to get some pretty high alcohol. I used champagne yeast.
I used to go up the road to McCutcheon's in Frederick, Maryland. They sold unfiltered cider in just about any quantity you could ask for. I also used to buy honey there - much cheaper and also much better than what you find in the supermarket. Made a few batches of mead along the way as well. Haven't been active the last several years - just too busy.

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

You have been added.
I brewed up a Cranberry Mead last Nov. It was bottled about 5 months ago and should be ready for Thanksgiving.
