(CNSNews.com) - If Mitt Romney becomes president, he says he won't get rid of Obamacare in its entirety.
In an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday, Romney indicated he would keep the provisions dealing with pre-existing conditions and young adults:
"Well, I'm not getting rid of all of healthcare reform," Romney told NBC's David Gregory. "Of course, there are a number of things that I like in health care reform that I'm going to put in place. One is to make sure that those with pre-existing conditions can get coverage. Two is to assure that the marketplace allows for individuals to have policies that cover their-- their family up to whatever age they might like.
"I also want individuals to be able to buy insurance, health insurance, on their own as opposed to only being able to get it on a tax-advantage basis through their company," Romney said.
Romney told Gregory he's going to "replace Obamacare" with his own plan:
"And, you know, even in Massachusetts where I was governor, our plan there deals with pre-existing conditions and with young people."
Then he will have to keep the mandate also. You can't cover preexisting conditions (which is actually a guarantee not insurance) with out the mandate to subsidize it. Otherwise people would just wait until they got sick to buy the coverage.

This is coreless Romney just being coreless Romney! Where do we think Obamacare came from? Romneycare. Two pusher consultants of his worked with the administration to implement it, right down to the boot on the neck of the Catholics, as in Massachusetts.
Romney doesn’t look and sound Marxist so obviously as does Obama, but if evidence, proof, and a legislative record serve a purpose anymore, please, show me in Romney’s record so far, where he differs
from Obama’s actions.
I would love to see a shred of conservative evidence from Romney.

Do we not know a government mandate is what it is - a top down social order to the masses, whose “workers” are forced to cooperate with the enforcers, pay for the cost and for the enforcement tactics stacked against them, exactly what is being perpetrated against Catholic religious liberty is now against liberty in general.

Mitt is pretty much a policy copy of Obama. I don’t think Mitt hates america like Obama, but when it comes to the core issues, there is not much difference.
House leadership. Talks a good talk, jumps up and down, makes a good speech to the cameras.. Then, cries and gives in.
Senate leadership.. Why do they show up for work anyways?
They are all the same party. Regardless of the name. There are a few exceptions like my congress women Michele, however, they are far out numbered.
It matters not who wins in November. we are f&$ked either way you cut it.
After a Mittens term there will be no middle America to connect with. Same goes for the kenyan, of course. The kenyan will probably get violent sooner than the manager, though.

He does not like the taxes, regulation or heavy-handed cost controls.
Meaning that if he gets his way he’ll bankrupt the country with this thing even faster than Obama.

Romney apparently took notes from Juan McLame on how to campaign...
Saying that he would adopt a few things in a 2,000+ page law is not backing out of a campaign promise to repeal that law.
We need to remain cool headed, in what is going on. Gov. Romney has been slowly moving to the right. Does that mean that he has completely abandoned any "liberal" ideas? Of course not, That is why we need to continue to work to influence him in the right direction. We do not do that by insulting him!
