Bought gas in NJ noon today at $3.559. On the return trip, around 6PM, price was $3.699.
I'm pretty sure it's because of pending QE3, but I'm no expert.
I expect the price of everything else to soon rise accordingly.
$3.999 on the Rockies.
My husband agrees with you about the $6.00 per gallon range by November - maybe that's what it will take for the liberal jack@sses to bring their messiah's message home for them.
There won't be any morey to spend on entertainment, and that will leave those Hollywood and celebrity types without customers and give them a sweet but painful lesson about the importance of capitalism.
Our al-Qaeda sleeper agent president is doing his best to send as many US dollars to his 6th century sand monkey buddies before he completely collapses our economy.
For about ten minutes after the RNC left Charlotte, I let myself feel hopeful.
Today I read the full August 22 updated report: Analysis of CBO's Updated Budget and Economic Outlook. I had previously only read the conclusion and was starting to freak out. The actual report is frightening. I'm getting into accelerated action (i.e., moving out of California).
From the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget site:

$3.89/gal unl-reg to $4.19/gal unl-prem to $4.29/gal diesel in South Central Pa.
I also hope it goes to $7-8-9/gal, if that gets that POS out of the White Hut/Crib!
Mail? Where have you been. It's all electronic now. The gvt credits your EBT or FI debit card and you're good to go.
Bureaucrats don’t like it at all, BTW. High gas prices slow the velocity of debt that they consume for their jobs of preventing production.
Yep. Avoiding fuel costs probably allows them to better stock up on firearms, ammo and brains.
I paid $4.15 a gallon for diesel. That’s going to hurt pocket books.
Stop buying it.
Sagacity, you have much.
You must be in south Jersey - its much higher up here in north Jersey - averaging about $3.89
Now it doesn't go down until after hurricane season.
Leave and don’t look back, you can think the nice neighbors to the south for bankruptcy. They are killing the social and the medical system all over the country!
I’m sure it’s the lead story at CNN.com, like it would be under W’s watch, right?
Funny, remember when in 2007 the MSM lead every newscast with gas prices and Iraq war dead.
Not a peep about gas prices and Afghan war dead now.
I am in Jersey and noticed it too. Crazy!
Thank you! Hmmm. Maybe if I were a zombie (re. comment #28), I could get more of that sagacity. “Hope,” “change” and redistribution of sagacity!
;-)
Upstate NY is $3.999 for regular.
