I’m glad you told me that, BR! I have kept clippings of their first hair cuts as well. For a while there.. I thought I was put on some “freaky Mom” list. LOL!!
Hey, being in the same category as I am in does not leave you off the Freaky Mom list. :)
My #1 grandson went to preschool today. He looks so dang old it made this grandmother cry.
When my oldest started to lose his teeth we lived overseas and he got foreign bills so he was probably only getting $.25 but it looked cool. He usually wouldn’t spend it and probably still has it stashed somewhere. When we returned to the States they would get $1.00 but sometimes $5.00 if the “tooth fairy” didn’t have $1.00 in his wallet. What really took the bloom off the tooth fairy rose was when my youngest had orthodontia and they pulled five at a time to make space in her mouth...on two separate occasions! She got $20.00 because we felt so bad for her!
All the fairies got more important things to do than go around and give little kids money for their lost teeth.
It’s so hard to realize that he is now a “little man”... Mr. Independent. Don’t feel badly.. when my youngest went to kindergarten, I played cartoons on the t.v. for months (to make it sound like she was here with me). Friends would call and hear Spongebob or Scooby Doo in the background and probably thought I had completely LOST it. LOL!
