That was my thought, also. Carry a STOP sign! If the police react, then claim “Freedom of speech”.
I'd tell them that I was doing their job, and that they owe me at least a cup of coffee and a fat donut! LOL

You can film your every move - AND that of any cops or anyone else who give you a hard time -
If they give you a hard time, you can take you video and your story to the media -
When the story hits the light of day - public exposure - people will scramble to cover their butts by doing the right thing
In the late 1940’s we all walked. There was no bus. We didn’t have bikes because they were too expensive. In the winter when the snow was deep I was lucky because I had a horse to ride.
Sometimes I wish people today had an opportunity to live as we used to. Life was, in many respects, a whole lot better then.
