Just an offhanded remark - something that made me ponder.

This is obviously an attractive woman.

In the old days, cops were accused, and frequently guilty of, asking attractive women for their phone numbers, or even directly for sexual favors.

Now apparently they’d rather have violence than sex.

Not sure what this means, other than something HAS changed in our society.

Any wonder why most cops flip out when someone has a camera?

I’m sure Mayor Villaigor -whatever his name is-—
will address this very incident at the upcoming Democratic
National Convention.
Which will be a hoot to watch, either way.

Rehearsing for future jobs at DHS, maybe?

The state gives the police the power of arrest which effectively is the power of life and death, an awesome power that like all great power must be used with the greatest restraint.

Laws should be obeyed but those who enforce them have to understand the relative importance of enforcement of those laws and the effort made to apprehend the law breaker.
Jay walking is against the law but it doesn't call for an air strike against the offender.

But that is apparently what took place with a nurse pulled over for use of a cell phone while driving. Each one of the police had an obligation to protect from harm someone in their custody and under their control and they failed to do so.
