Word For The Day, Wednesday, August 29, 2012false flag (false-flag)
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
false flag, noun
False flag (also known as black flag) operations are covert operations designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities. The name is derived from the military concept of flying false colors; that is: flying the flag of a country other than ones own. False flag operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations and can be used during peace-time.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.

You know, they have this new thing called a DVR. And a slightly older thing called video tape.

Have you seen the controversy on twitter and elsewhere over Chubbikins speech? Chris Wallace said it was the most curious he had ever heard. much was made of the fact that he didn’t mention romney’s name until 17 min in and people said he was too self-serving. i didn’t notice it AT ALL. i thought it was great, and extremely effective and i would bet those in the conventional hall thought the same.
The “racist incidents” supposedly perpetrated by Tea Party Activists, were almost entirely false flag operations from the left.
The media is not used to the idea of a campaign of ideas. They prefer hero worship, which is easier to report on.
Romney is not a hero and he is, if he is to be successful, a representative of ideas. The less flowery biography the better. We saw what that treatment got us with Obama.
Did your wife watch Ann Romney’s speech? what did she think? i was gagging a bit at first at the we-are-all-womens-together tenor, but i was texting with my best friend Paula, the ob-gyn, and as i am thinking geez this is hokey, Paula says She is tearing up over it. so then i thought, well i guess it’s effective then. She said she bonded with the whole woman-to-woman bit. Personally that gags the hell out of me. i do not identify based on gender EVER. But Paula’s career for the past 30+ yrs has been women’s health, so she does get off on that kind of thing. i had a text from another friend in FL who also loved Ann’s speech.

Exactly. Plus, a fair number of “hate crimes” committed against gays turn out to be false flag operations.
i thought Artur Davis was excellent also.
Yes indeed!
Tawana Brawley as a false flag operation run by that loveable MSNBC host Rev Al.
I thought Christie was terrific. He’s definitely got that “I’d love to have a beer with the guy,” thing going on, as Bubba and Reagan did in the past. Neither Romney nor Obama has that quality, but Christie’s speech helps by extension. You know, the mathematical a=b and b=c, therefore a=c. Christie is my kind of guy, Christie likes Romney, therefore Romney is my kind of guy.
We haven’t watched one minute of the convention. I’ll probably watch Ryan and Romney. I’ve been more focused on trying to get my daughter back into a regular sleep pattern.

Yeah, Tawana smeared that excrement on herself, and Sharpton was her biggest cheerleader. Somehow, probably because the mainstream media is totally in the tank, Reverend Al has managed to keep the stink off of himself.
Play some of Obama's latest speeches for her. They always put me to sleep. (After I throw up.)
what does that involve you doing?
Transitive property.
Stopping her from napping at 6 or 7 PM. Not getting her all excited with TV before bedtime.
We all know that your use of “false flag” was a false flag for that term “black flag” to hide the fact that you’re a racist, bigoted Conservative.....

Oh, definitely. I get the list of racial code words on my fax machine every morning.
