Thanks Mom. I wanted to let folk of like minds to know this event was going on in a couple weeks... in the event some of those on your ping list might be in the area. Thanks for pinging your list.
Binger’s place is something to behold, and to remember.
This is red rock country. Niagra Falls and the Smokies got nothing on us :o)
Me and my kids hope to get back to Texas. Maybe next year... we tried this year, but that didn’t work out.
It’s the amazing beauty of our state and the warm company of fellow travelers we want to share with our FRiends. Again, thank you.
My pleasure. One day I hope that Eaker & I can get up your way.
That could be taken as a not so subtle request for pics.
I’ll take my new Nikon.... after all ... gotta keep up with the after event pics of the Texas Cowboy Shootout.
COB1 - El Roy - was a friend, and a good man.
And I hope to get down to finally meet all of you as well.
Going to the TCMS is going to eat up all of Hubby’s off-work time. Perhaps we can come next year?
Every time I read the Utah-get-together threads, I want to meet everyone there and enjoy the beauty of Utah, but dragging Hubby away from his job is a task that I must begin well, well ahead of time.
I’d been on at him for a whole year before he finally agreed to the TCMS.
You will be missed.
Maybe next year it will be in the Fort Worth area again as shooting on the river was great!
Oh now, yer makin' me blush (and that's hard to do with my tan :-)
Thanks. Hope to see everybody next year somewhere in North Texas.
Never been to the Wasatch Mountains
I haven't either.
We shall see.
Thanks for the ping.
Wish I could make it to this one, but there’s not enough time to make arrangements.
Heck, I’m still trying to find a way to work the TCMS into my schedule, LOL.
Y’all have fun.

I posted this on the prepper thread too...
I gotcher six, Eaker. We have much in common (except maybe the goat thing... we dont have any goats.)
Made some serious preps for the Southern Utah FReeper Picnic / Shoot at the Thunderbird with Pete-R-Bilt today. Put some well deserved touches on the Turdmobile. Its a 454 Chevy bread truck with a kitchen and beds. Hey, maybe we could fry chicken wings and sell them out the side to cover fuel on the way to Thunderbird!
I had to put my foot down with my boys, though... one carbine, one pistol each. Last year it took several days of M-Pro7 and MiliTech just to recover from the weekend.
Were thinking one target stand for sighting in, and a thousand fluorescent clays for the shoot. Were at high range fire risk, so no steel cores - only jacketed lead. Still, itll be a hoot. And yet again, when the local herd of mule deer wander across the live fire range, well cease fire.
Projected weather for next weekend: mid 80s day, mid 60s night. Im taking my new Nikon... pics on the hoof, and Ill post them once were back home.
Take care. Be safe.
Anybody taking a count on attendees?
You can park on the property with RV’s, pitch tents and sleep in the open air. Should be a great time.
It doesn’t look like we will be able to be there this year Binger. Life is happening fast. Sorry.
My latest count is 16
or 1600.
Not sure.
Math is so hard!
Chris, Sheila and I are planning on being there in an RV. It might be too tall to drive under the gate at the historic place, so will park the first night somewhere near the gallery. Have a full hookup site reserved at a nearby RV park for the second night so we an recharge batteries, dump holding tanks, refill water tank, etc.
