Obama's Perfect Media Storm Might Have Just Been Born As Isaac Models Shift West
Hurricane Models ^ | 8-25-2012

Posted on 08/25/2012 6:38:11 PM PDT by My Favorite Headache

Yes this is a vanity and yes everything can change again in 12 hours...HOWEVER...BE REMINDED OF THIS QUOTE FROM TEAM OBAMA!!!

"Never let a good crisis go to waste"

The perfect storm might be developing for Obama as we speak as models for Tropical Storm soon to be Hurricane Isaac have shifted directly towards where?

New Orleans.

Take a moment and think about this scenario.

Team Obama with HHS and FEMA get together and make sure they do everything Team Bush didn't do in the days and hours leading up to Katrina. The week of the hurricane as it ravages the Gulf coast...Obama rides into town and saves the day with his army of loving media scum riding in tow to capture every shot and picture of Obama's government "hard at work" for the American people.

What's next?

A DNC convention to show images and talk up the heroic acts of Team Obama and before you know it...polls swing and shift and Obama is up 10 points in national polls because we know the average American is only interested in their short term memory and who was a hero to them lately and who is taking care of them and saving the day.

Get ready...because if these models indeed keep West into Louisiana....Team Romney has a bigger problem on its hands than a poor speaking Congressman out of Missouri.

Remember...at the end of the day...it is all about the media and all about their control and what they can do with images and words.

He can’t do anything until Governor Jindal asks for assistance.

You really think that would stop the tinhorn dictator? I'm sure you've noticed he's not real big on that separation of powers thingy.

Good Lord, if this nightmare scenario does in fact happen, it'll convince me that GOD has indeed given up on this country. Seriously.

I understand the politics of disasters and photo ops.

How good did Hurricane Andrew do for Bush 1? He lost.

Then, like now, it’s the economy. And will be after the hurricane. No photo ops will help.

All RATS know they are going to hell for politicizing Katrina, especially Kanye West. Gone are the Blancos and Landrieus that gave W the finger when he insisted they let Texas in to help.

That was the dirtiest political assassination I believe to the RATS record, and they expanded on it to sour Democrat minds against conservatives forever.

Justice will eventually be served for this travesty, some day.

I had thought the same thing...After all, NO is the “ chocolate city” as their Mayor called it.

At the time of landfall, end of August, nobody on our side really understood the plans for Zero. It hurts a little less to know the RATMEDIA was just doing this to give zero some grease to ‘08.

But inhuman ravages by the left during and after Katrina will come back upon them.

There was a great black conservative caller on Rush last Tuesday or so. He said ‘until blacks stop viewing the world through chocolate glasses’, it was an outstanding call.

Haven't looked at the latest forecasts, but last time I checked Isaac was disorganized with no well-defined eye, and was predicted to make landfall in FL as a category 1 hurricane (just one step up from tropical storm status). It might intensify but it's not predicted to. Landfall looks to be, best guess, somewhere in the FL panhandle.

Just for comparison, Katrina IIRC was a category 4 or 5 when it hit NO.

Don't want to make light of 90mph winds, but Isaac is a long way from a "Perfect Storm". It could be nothing more than a heavy rainstorm when it hits. Variables: Where and when - if it stikes at high tide, that's bad. If it hits a city as opposed to an empty beach, that's bad too.

The MSM may try to pump it up to knock the convention off the front pages, but I predict they'll have trouble finding dramatic footage.

Be careful how you describe this ~ the tracks on the maps are quite narrow, but that's just a centerline for what is otherwise an enormous storm that may be hundreds of miles wide!

They spit out tornados that can destroy vast amounts of property anywhere in their vicinity.

This storm will be blowing and raining at a furious pace in the vicinity of the convention.

I"ve been in smaller storms that left over 2 feet of water.

Preibus needs to be replaced real soon before he strikes again

obama has already ordered all FEMA units from S. Chicago to proceed to Tampa and follow the storm's track from there.Other FEMA relief teams are on standby status in Wisconsin and Michigan and Ohio to assist if necessary.

obama has been in constant contact with former Governor Blanco for insights on how to handle any unexpected situation.

Did Rove turn over the keys to the weather machine to the DNC? It wouldn’t surprise me...

People may have forgotten his earlier gulf failure-although I’m not sure given the continuing effects of his malfeasance-but, what they can’t forget because it’s very current is It’s The Economy Stupid. He is going down hard, period.

I hope Isaac is just strong enough to make the Occupy and Code Pink people so miserable they’ll look for another venue to occupy; but not strong enough to do any real damage. I hope and pray it’ll be nothing Obama can use for a crisis to exploit.

the ONLY reason several models have TS Isaac going anywhere near New Orleans is because it has NO friggin’ eye, and that makes it harder for the Computer models to make up their mind.

Don’t promote panic with this crap.

We’ve got enough to deal with down South.

I quit the WC when they went “all in” on glo-bull warming but even our local Indiana stations are in panic over this storm.

I guess the problem is we haven’t had a decent one in a few years.

Obama should just issue a executive order that it by-passes NO.

I can guarantee you, most people don’t care.”

And I would like to think that after Katrina, the people in Houston do not want the refugees in our city again. Of course, Mayor Porker may have other ideas but I would suspect she is not going to find a lot of folks with wide open arms like last time around.

Just for comparison, Katrina IIRC was a category 4 or 5 when it hit NO.

Katrina was barely a cat 3 and NOLA was on the week side of the storm when it hit. If it had been a cat 4 or 5 no one in NO would have survived it , none of the levees would have held .
All that damage was not caused by wind , it was caused by an one unkept levee breaking hours after the storm had already passed.
