Too late. He had several dry runs (TN Flood, Gulf Coast Oil Spill) and flunked them all.
Plus all Gulf Coast states are controlled by Repubs. Makes the charade more difficult.
Nobody would buy that crap.Everybody else around the country is still suffering and the media trying to make knucklehead look good would be seen as such.
You seem to be thinking that the Gulf oil spill and TN floods are even part of the current American thinking process. The average American still remembers Katrina and the average American will always remember “Good Job Brownie”.
I bet my bank account the White House and Team Obama is praying for this thing to strike La. so they can do something drastic and heroic to save the day. Besides...Team Obama and Congress brought all the oil execs up in front of the cameras and killed them...not to mention all of the checks that have been written by BP and the endless commercials saying sorry to this day.
The media will praise him for days no matter what happens if they can just get ‘Katrina’ in the story.
Darn, I was hoping it would head this way...
Little birdie tells me that hotel reservations are already iffy for many Jackson, MS hotels.
But people have forgotten all about those .
DO NOT like this. Likely to be a hurricane possibly major at landfall with a ripe environment in the Gulf. Anywhere near NOLA will be bad as well with Bush comparisons. Looking like Obama may get a bump from the GOP convention. Damn it!
I can guarantee you, most people don't care.
‘Watching out for this one, Swami....’
I have been saying this on other threads...this is a F’ing Obama wet dream storm. We should win this election, but we now probably lost.
Hard to remember that it took the most corrupt and clueless state to change the rules of the game for every other state --- for the worse.
Not having to exercise prudence, to budget for the unexpected, has empowered irresponsible states, like California, to spend into oblivion, and to pretend national disasters no longer exist.
Remarkably, a growing army of parasites and morons think this is a good thing.
He can’t do anything until Governor Jindal asks for assistance.
A couple of things to remember. First, the certainty associated with these models is pretty low, and a more eastern track is as likely as a western one; this storm is a likely to hit Pensacola as it is to hit New Orleans. Secondly, Issac is no Katrina - it will be a much weaker storm.
