(Just Asking) Is the entitlement class the oligarch and puppet master of an unsuspecting and diverse liberal plutocracy?

Is the entitlement class the ultimate oligarch and puppet master of an unsuspecting and diverse liberal plutocracy manipulated into providing free cable TV, free money, cheap illegal drugs and politically connected corporately produced Scooby Snacks? Or does something else drive the entitled where they are going?

Most economists say there is but one variable to the economic equation of the United States: the three letter word “jobs”. Without jobs we are without the gluttonous want that needs to be taxed to keep up impossible levels of government spending. To keep the spending up, politicians try to light the economic furnace of a never ending money laundering scheme which must be continually stoked to churn money through the system. Overcompensated private and public sector unions continue to be bailed out by the Federal government as part of this scheme. If union employees do not get 7 to 8 percent growth on money earned now and pensions earned later they may riot in the streets.

Bill Clinton’s efforts to keep his “stupid” economy roaring by repealing the Glass Steagall Act led to his legendary marshmallow-fluff growth, followed by the bursting of the so-called Dot Com Bubble. George Bush, starting out in the midst of a recession, was hit by the 911 attacks and was unlikely to keep a thriving middle class. Yes he borrowed from the future to keep the citizenry prospering during times of unprecedented military spending – a war on terror executed with the overwhelming approval of congress – remember them all singing as one on Capitol Hill? And yes he passed a prescription drug program that made medication more affordable to seniors at a great expense to the rest of us, but studies have shown if you take your prescribed meds you can prevent more expensive complications. We own our lives and our world class standard of living to our beloved seniors.

It was the 2006 democratically controlled congress that caused uncertainty in the markets and lead to the loss of trillions and trillions of dollars of real-estate wealth - and with it closely tied institutional wealth - namely private and public sector union pensions, college endowments and insurance company investments at firms like the once great AIG. And so many wearing blinders expect the spending and unfunded liabilities to be taken care of by the top 1% - a notion harped over and over since the brainwashing 1987 Oliver Stone movie Wall Street.

As campaigning began for Obama in February of 2007, The Bureau of Labor Statistics started reporting decreases in job openings. Decreases in hiring soon followed. Yet, the unemployment rate held steady. All of this took us to a desperate time in September 2008, days before early voting began for the November presidential election. McCain assured us the economy was sound but then he left the campaign to race back to DC and to kiss the ring of the Federal reserve to green light (with the rest of the Senate) the beginnings of a backdoor acquisition of trillions of dollars of US real estate to keep investors of the world from cashing out.

As Obama wins the election in November of 2008 the sh!t hit the fan. A glut of firing and people quitting their jobs caused the unemployment rate to rise from 6 percent to 10 percent 5 months later. In the midst of that Obama signed the stimulus package in February to directly inject $100s of billions of cash into large private and public sector unions under the guise of state shovel ready projects. March 2009 sees the Stock Market cut in half, killing the hopes of private sector employees banking on their 401Ks. The trillion dollar stimulus becomes part of the baseline spending for each subsequent year. Congress does not pass a budget anymore.

Funny it was June 2009 that economists tell us the recession officially ended – but Obama talks like it is still here, thanks to Bush. Did Obama and his ilk latch on to something they saw coming with great timing and skill or has an elite progressive agenda pushed with the goal to ultimately enslaves the middle class into an environment of endlessly diminishing and suppressed productivity?

We The People were punched in the gut with the 2008 election. Punched in the gut with a stimulus package that was supposed to turn the US into Disney Land. Punched in the gut with the auto bailouts and the destruction of perfectly good vehicles which would have traded hands to the less fortunate and taken them to work. Punched in the gut with the passage of Obamacare after a brutal fight on deaf ears and after being told by Obama on 9/9/9 in front of a joint session of congress that the Affordable Care Act would not pay for abortions or step on our religious liberties. Punched in the gut by the way the bill was passed. Punched in the gut again when Obama’s do nothing Band-Aid executive order expired, allowing federally funded abortions to begin in the covert shadows created by endless political kabuki dances. How does one spend $5 trillion of our hard-earned future dollars plus interest in less than 4 years?

Obama, the promised unifier of red and blue states into a once again United States, has done just the opposite. He’s caused schisms everywhere you look. Between red and blue states, white and black people, black and red balance sheets. Between rich and poor. Between conservative Catholics and Liberal Catholics. Between Bishops, Priests and Nuns. Between Christian adoption services and the homosexual agenda. Between a normally generous Christian nation and the charities that now struggle to make ends meet. Between doctors and patients. Between doctors and nurses. Between doctors and Medicare. Between doctors and insurance companies. And he says you can keep your doctor! But no one has your doctor’s back like the Federal Government has the back of public school teachers and the janitors who clean up after them.

And as we all get depressed on all sides of the issues. We don’t care. We become dependent on someone or something else to keep us going, to eat, to dress, to be sheltered from uncertainty. To be lulled with free cable TV, free money, cheap illegal drugs and politically connected corporately produced Scooby Snacks. To become part of the oligarch entitlement class and to become part of the puppet master of an unsuspecting and diverse liberal plutocracy manipulated by our leader Obama, Obama, Obama…

I think it's a simple matter of giving away other people's money in exchange for political support - consequences be damned.

It's absurdly reckless. It'll end up being our ruin. I don't think there's any grand scheme other than what I said above. They aren't that damned smart.

Are left-handed turnips as committed as they claim to heliotropism?
