This idiot is going to cost us the Senate. Does he not understand that the local and national liberal media will never let this die? Never.

The MSM will attempt to attack all Republicans as they tar them with being “anti-women”.

Too many stupid people vote.

Fine....let him go down in flames. The next time some nitwit GOP candidate feels the urge to be interviewed on the subject of abortion, Akin’s crashing and burning should flash before his mind’s eye.

Oh, and the next time Sarah Palin endorses someone for the primary in your state, pay attention. She obviously has more political sense than a boatload of “experts”. Her candidate, Steelman, wouldn’t have been this stupid...and she is a woman, another plus when running against a woman.

Godd, the RSC and other big spenders will come back in as he succeeds.

Unless he does so well they can spend the money in closer races.

“Let Akin be Akin!”

It is nice to see principled religious conservative people fighting. Sure he said something that should have been said differently but anybody with a brain knew what he meant. Akin for President in 2016 along with Bachmann and Santorum running as well. We need to get away from the liberalism that has taken over both parties. Let’s get some serious religious conservatives in office and you will see an incredible country again. Pro Life, Anti-Gay marriage and agenda should be our top priority. If you concentrate on social issues first, the fiscal issues will change as well EASILY!!!!

Fox business is reporting that a group of present and former GOP Senators will call for Akin to withdraw today. Also, the Chairman of the RNC has asked him to withdraw. If Akin continues at this point, he is effectively working for the Democrats. He will not only burn himself down, he will take other Missouri candidates with him as well as hurt the Republicans nationally in the battle for the Senate and maybe even cost the GOP the state in the Presidential election.

Todd is staying in. Get used to it. He has apologized and even with the predominently stupid GOP piling on he still leads McCaskill. I thought we learned something from the SandraFluking of Limbaugh. Now either we all get the message (that other one not sent out by Karl Rove and company) and help this man who made a mistake recover the tiny bit of ground he needs to win or we keep being dumb asses complaining over spilt milk. Akin is a good man who has two daughters. The idea that some how he is indifferent or cruel where rape is concerned is ridiculous but of course all that didn’t matter.

I supported Sarah Steelman but the idea that we are going to just go hysterical because of fear of how the left will use something is just crazy. Hell you’d think the guy got caught getting a teenager give him a blow job at a rest stop or someting or walked into a planned parenthood and opened fire.

We have to stop being trained pavlovian dogs always reacting to the leftwing tune. This story will die entirely if people just learn to shut up. Take a few hints from the left on this. Look at all the stupid shit that Democrats say and still surive. Instead we waste time tearing apart of good man and a loyal conservative soldier. Sorry I cant be a part of it. Its not Christian and Political Correctness is not a plank of the GOP last time I checked.

Man, this election cycle is getting fun!

It’s like watching a good movie during the really exciting parts, sitting on the edge of my seat.

But it’s easy to enjoy it when you know how it ends.

If he stays in he probably costs us the Senate, which means Obamacare remains in place even if Romney wins by a landslide.

Everyone on Free Republic that claims Todd Akin should still run - and that he will still win....

Should now promise to drink a gallon of anti-freeze if Akins runs - and loses

Otherwise - all of your words are bullshirt

Let’s say you own a business. You have an employee who is loyal and believes in your business 110%. But he is also not very smart and prone to saying totally dumb things for no discernable reason.

Do you send this employee to represent you to get a big contract or new client?

Akin does not help conservatism and does not help the pro-Life cause. No matter how sincere he is about both causes he is a severe liability to both.
