RIP, funny lady.
“Fang”s for the memories Phylis
RIP
God bless you Ms. Diller and may you rest in eternal peace with the Lord.
Thank you for all the laughs and smiles you provided over the years. Say hello to Fang for me!
RIP
I remember her being an old lady when I was a little kid.

She did have a distinctive laugh, and the current crop of female comedians(sounds like an oxymoron lately) could learn a thing or two from her. RIP Mrs. Diller.
RIP, another great one passes.
Isn’t it something that when I was a kid, she was considered “risque”?
My parents were fans, and I’m 61. We had a comedy LP.
Bless her, she had good gene stock.
So, so sad.
When I was growing up, these comics made the rounds on all the variety shows, Hollywood Palace, Johnny Carson, etc. Even as a child I knew all their names. Now I don’t know anyone, they are all too profane to listen to.
Remember Buddy Hackett, Phyllis, Bob Newhart, Jonathan Winters, Don Rickles, Rodney Dangerfield, Bob Hope, etc.
They might have had some dirty nightclub acts but you could turn them on, on TV and the whole family watched, and loved it.
I was 8 years old but I loved the stories about “Fang”.
I still remember when she was a secretary at KSFO back in the old days of Don Sherwood. They used to let her have the mike for a few minutes every now and then.
RIP pretty lady!
Old school comedian who knew her craft and how to milk a “take”.
She could work “blue” or clean - either way she was a hoot!
When I was working for Reagan’s PAC “Citizens for the Republic” in the early 90s, we held a fundraiser with Dan Quayle which was attended by many prominent LA conservatives. Miss Diller was one of the Hollywood conservatives attending and she was so very nice and pleasant. Afterward I sent her a great pic of Charlton Heston and her and she sent me the most beautiful thank you letter. I’ll have to find it because I sure didn’t throw it away.
