Obama planted the seeds for all this when he publicly announced a timetable for withdrawing U.S. troops. His deadline is fertile ground for jihadis who know that their "window of opportunity" for murder is closing. We should expect the bitter harvest of "green on blue attacks" to produce a bumper crop of American casualties -- unless we hire a new commander in chief who knows how to fight a war and win.

When Obama made this announcement it seemed to me at the time to be an invitation to the Taliban and Afghan terrorists that it soon would be open season on our military. I'm not a military person and don't claim to know anything about strategies, but when you give out your strategy to the enemy you could expect to have repercussions. Now our men are paying with their lives for this Presidents' total ignorance of what he has done. It reminds me of the movie "The Bridge on the River Kwai" where the English commander says something to the effect, "My God, what have I done..." The only difference is that Obama thinks he has done good. If you value our military and what it's done for our country and the world, you have to vote this guy out. He should have to be part of the rear guard.
