Just for a little political background info: The particular state house district Ayala is running for (the 128th) is central Bridgeport. The outgoing rep for that district is Andres Ayala, Jr. who apparently is running for a state Senate seat this time. Don’t know if he is related to the Ayala involved in the crash or not, though.
