Take a tip from William Shatner, who was reduced to doing local Canadian grocery store ads after the original Star Trek.

And before Star Trek he was a lead actor in a horror flick that was the only movie with all the dialog in Esperanto.

Hmm... inasmuch as many people pick up a language by watching movies repeatedly, might Esperanto speakers have developed a natural Shatner dialect in their in...FLEC-shun?

Shatner also had his own series before Trek, a fairly adult lawyer show called “For The People.” Not to mention, he was busy and making the rounds, guesting on virtually all the big-name drama shows.

I was thinking “The Devils Rain” Ernest Borgnine, Eddie Albert, Ida Lupino, and a cameo by John Travolta. Horribly great movie. Shatner at his very over the top best.

Any movie in Esperanto would be a horror flick, by definition.

Shatner had a number of good roles in films. He played Alexei in “The Brothers Karamazov” opposite Yul Brynner; also, he played Spencer Tracy’s aide in “Judgment at Nuremberg; and he was the priest in “Seven Samurai”. I may be one of the few people who liked “Incubus”, curse or no.
