What Is Going On ... Reading a Lot About ...

Posted on 08/16/2012 6:27:13 AM PDT by Why So Serious

The Department of Homeland Security purchased 450 million rounds of ammunition followed by the National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration buying 46,000 wounds. This is now being followed by the Social Security Administration buying 174,000 rounds to be delivered to 41 locations around the country. What is this all about?

BY LAW, the only agency that can receive transfers of anything, including funds, from other agencies of government is...the CIA.

LAW doesn't seem to constrain this administration or any agency in it.

“(does NOAA even have any guns)”

Yes, in Fisheries Enforcement or some agency like that. Fed fishing cops on boats. The odd thing is that the purchase was made through the National Weather Service!

Doesn’t the CIA have off the books funding though for black ops stuff? They would have no reason to do this unless of course Obama could not get funding from the committee responsible for signing off on this stuff. Also keep reading that these are hollow point bullets which are banned by the Geneva conventions. Not sure what to make of that aspect of story yet. If the Feds were worried about riots and stuff, you would think they would be buying more rubber bullets and tear gas.....not bullets meant for over kill.

Bingo! And they certainly don’t need millions of rounds of bullets meant for overkill. Why not just buy tear gas and rubber bullets if worried about riots too? The whole thing reeks.

So what is going on is cops buying ammo. Some transactions do look funny, but that’s the basics, cops buying ammo

...and they have to stay qualified even if they never have reason to fire. So lots of time at the range is required and plenty of bullets.

But if that is what it takes to get more people to prep, then...whatever.

Don’t forget a manual can-opener and a way to cook, independent of electricity.

Charcoal or gas for the grill.

I have read posts from active duty law enforcement that say they do not use these kind of bullets for ‘training’. No way to verify those claims but have read it multiple times on various boards and chat rooms discussing this stuff.

Hollow point bullets for target practice?

I can verify from personal experience as a former deputy. One does not train with hollow points.

We have a bug out place both in Texas and Mississippi but neither is fully stocked yet. We were talking about getting an old wind mill operating again this weekend for water but those old motors are super expensive. Two buckets with a modest priced filter and sand will do for awhile though.i can’t believe we are even having to think like this these days. The sadness of what is happening to this once great country because of these damn politicians and bureaucrats is overwhelming sometimes.

Thanks for your service and input on this matter. The whole thing reeks. I just wonder where all the patriots are in these bureaus? Certainly not all of them are on board with what seems to be happening. Why no major leaks?

Yup, this is raising awareness that Fed Gov has tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of non-military armed “troops”.

“Also keep reading that these are hollow point bullets which are banned by the Geneva conventions.”

For the military in time of war. But many police departments issue hollow points as they tend to ricochet less and don’t go through a target to hit an innocent.

It’s OK for cops to buy hollowpoints.
