If The Obammunist is not defeated and Socialized Medicine is not repealed next year, the exodus of doctors from the profession will be unbelievable.

Obamma Care provides for this doctor shotage with provisions to authorize nurses and nurse practitioners to qualify as MDs based just on work experience.

I am a senior on Medicare and I have supplemental insurance that costs me $250.00 a month. When I go to the doctor, I have to talk fast because the doctor wants out of there as fast as he can get out, to go to the next patient. Maybe that next one will be a “real” patient who has to pay more for his service.

The point is, it takes many Medicare patients for the doctor to make a decent amount of money, so Medicare patients are thought of in “groups” not individuals.

When Hussein starts giving them even less money for Medicare patients, maybe they will group us all into a room and the doctor will treat us as a group, as in, “How many of you think you have high blood pressure? Okay, I’ll write a prescription for that many.” And, he keeps asking questions until we are all gone with our prescription in hand and he did it all in 15 minutes.

I have no doubt seniors will die more rapidly due to less time a doctor will spend with a senior - and Hussein will revel in the large number of seniors who are no longer on the Medicare roles.

Some people have the mindset that since you have experience your job is easier, and you
shouldn't be paid as much. Well, Doctors don't have to treat a single person if they choose not to.
And the Gov is taking them for granted and assuming to much.

The reality is that across the US right now many private practice groups are contracting to become hospital employees in order to cover expenses and maintain the ability to make a living.

Contrary to what a lot of people in the US think (mostly the Obama voters) being a physician does not in any way guarantee an individual a great income. This is especially true when you consider how much money it takes to become a physician, how much debt one accrues during training, and the fact that the earliest one can expect to begin practicing is when you are 29-30 yrs. old.

This would be for a family practitioner who started training at 18, spent 4 years as an undergraduate, 4 years in medical school, and then 3 years as a family practice resident. The training is significantly longer if you do surgery, or a subspecialty like cardiology, oncology, pediatric heart surgery etc. I personally spent an additional 9 years of training after finishing medical school. The other day a patient asked me why I only received 35 dollars for the extensive office visit that I'd had with him. That's the reality of the situation.

I truly did not choose to do medicine because I thought I'd get rich, but I also did not choose to do medicine so that I could become a government employee - against my will. Why would I have spent all those sleepless nights and holidays in the hospital away from family just to become a political target of the party that encourages more people to apply for food stamps, wants to take away the work requirement for welfare, and that wants insurance companies to pay for condoms for sexually active law students?

paid less to work harder and faster.............Ain’t no way that will happen. What will happen is those who prefer to deminish their efforts will be put out on the street and a new “government worker” (illegal) will take their place since they already do work for less.

There’s one advantage to being old - people assume you have no sense, so you can manipulate the system. The doc would assume I’m just an old lady and wouldn’t have a gun. If he asked me if I had one, I’d say something like, “Guns are dangerous and they scare me.” He would beieve that, plus I didn’t answer the question.

In actuality, I just ordered a tactical vest for women so my gun stuff will be in one place and I can react quickly. I need one of those flags that says, “Don’t Tread on Me”.
