Etymology: Origin: 1645–55; < Latin ātra bīli ( s ) black bile + -ous
A mean word that means as it sounds, and a fluid pronunciation in keeping with its etymology: black bile.

Between FreeRepublic, Twitter, other places online, newspaper editorials and magazine articles, most of us who are politically savvy absorb more info in one day than the average person does in a year. All my “friend” knows is that when he goes to the doctor, it’s “free.” And, sadly, that’s all he cares to know. Even sadder—his uninformed vote counts just as much as your informed one.
Almost every friend or family member close to me is a conservative. The few liberals I know baffle me - one is a family member who lives in the northeast. His family was very very poor when he was growing up. He, and all of his siblings put themselves through school and every one of them has a Master’s Degree or higher. All are liberals. I want to shake them and ask why they think poor people can’t make it on their own since they all did? But almost every liberal I know has a gay child or sibling and I wonder how much that has colored their opinion.
Is it wrong that the thought of it makes me grin ear to ear?

I feel the pain of talking to the clueless. While I don’t visit the medical establishment unless badly injured, and do not take drugs, I can read-the word “co-pay” on my TriCare literature makes a lie of “free”-nothing is really “free”, except ignorance...

OMGosh, that is great. I AM dreaming of a Ryan presidency. Oh, happy day! Onion was good, but Ryan is a Catholic and does not speak the Lord’s name like that. Otherwise, pretty FUNNY!
I think I could design a really kick-ass voter education program with no prejudice to anyone-it would consist of one word-read-because ads aimed at the ignorant do not encourage reading/research....

It is getting strange in that group-conspiracy theories are being floated. I’m almost expecting the 3 people from that TV show “Chasing UFOs” to show up...
I’m glad Romney said something-I hope it stays in the public eye, complete with direct quotes from the perpetrator so everyone can see what real intolerance and hate look like.

It was the first thing that came to mind when seeing conspiracy theories, because they interview people who claim to be abductees, etc.
I watched that show a couple of times and was LMAO when two of the team members scared the crap out of the third one by getting him to keep “alien watch” alone in a dark house and held an alien puppet outside the window he was sitting by-he really freaked out-all in the interest of research, of course...
