Reminds me of a snake owned by an Army buddy in the 70s. It was big and about a foot in diameter. It was also very friendly. When it was hungry some of us would be invited over, the snake was put in a tree, a small pig under the tree and the snake would drop, coil and eat. Great entertainment.
One day there was a fire in his quarters. The snake was laying on the stairs, across the hall with it’s head in the kitchen. Firefighters thought it was a rolled up carpet – until it moved. They rushed out. We had to go in and carry the snake outside.
AH! The Good Old Days!

There is an Eleven footer loose this morning in a small North Alabama town. The newsie said if someone spots it they should call animal control.
