I know it's NBC but Todd really kicked some serious butt.
Stars Earn Stripes pits “celebrities” with (military) operators in a “simulated” combat contest.
Todd lost his celebrity partner, completed the shooting portion of the “mission” himself, beat the operators through a bog and carried a crate back lik eit was just so much styrofoam and a walk in a park.

Good to hear! Its just starting here in CAlif. They are trying to ignore Todd, giving most of the air time, to some yahoo. Giving Todd to the policeman, not even a swat guy. So I’m glad to hear he’s doing well. After lifting nets and nets full of fish and surviving the ididerod, I am not surprised...
I wonder if the episode will be available on NBC's website at some point?
The show is a way to show people that our military is willing to die to protect us. All of the military has earned the respect of the constestants
I watched part of it. Too much Hollywood hype.

I don’t think Todd thinks of himself as a “celebrity.” But, dang - he was good. I’m jealous of Sarah. (just kidding) He sure is a manly man.
They are all doing this for charity and I happen to like watching what the military goes through to protect this country. They sure are treated like crap from this administration.
Compare this to zero throwing a baseball. It isn’t a pretty picture, is it?
Just saw Todd kick some major ass out there. Everyone was really impressed, basically doing it all on his own but also wanting to show comfort for the guy who didnt do too good. No wonder liberal woman hate Sarah so much, Todd is not only a hunk(Yes Im a chick so I can say that :-) but a class act too!

Im sure ill get flamed for this,but in my humble opinion,For Todd or Sarah to be on a show like this is a little to sideshowish,,.I dont want presidential cndidates,future candidates or thier spouses in reality tv shows.just my 2 cents,,I think it cheapens them to the same level as the kardashians.

I saw about 20 minutes of the show. I liked it more than I expected. I missed Todd Palin in action, though. Who was his celeb partner and what happened to her (I assume it was a her)?
The part I liked MOST was when one of Todd’s team (one of the real-life soldiers) said something afterward to the effect of “Who needs Chuck Norris? Just send in Todd Palin!”

I saw "Stars Earn Stripes" (clever name) advertised constantly during the Olympics. Is the show worth watching? Is it pro-military / pro-conservative, or.... pro-Obama?

In all seriousness, these guys are competing on this reality show and their efforts will benefit military charities. My fav so far is the post-military charity...one that helps vets return to civilian life.
However, that’s the only one I heard about in depth. I’m sure that after I watch next week’s program, I will find others. ;o)
