MILWAUKEE (AP) Is a gun like a virus, a car, tobacco or alcohol? Yes say public health experts, who in the wake of recent mass shootings are calling for a fresh look at gun violence as a social disease.

The need for a new approach crystallized last Sunday for one of the nation's leading gun violence experts, Dr. Stephen Hargarten. He found himself treating victims of the Sikh temple shootings at the emergency department he heads in Milwaukee. Seven people were killed, including the gunman, and three were seriously injured.
It happened two weeks after the shooting that killed 12 people and injured 58 at a movie theater in Colorado, and two days before a man pleaded guilty to killing six people and wounding 13, including then-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, in Tucson, Ariz., last year.

A lot of people die in hospitals, should we ban them?
Tax Liberalism. It is a much, much more prevalent social disease.

Ban Them?
How about asking Hospitals to explain their Code of Silence.
OOPS! Your mother Died last night, but nobody saw anything. Sorry.
I’ve already tossed one doctor for asking this question.
My sister works in a doctors office, and she said that when you come to the Office now, one of the questions they ask you is “Do you own a gun?” If you say yes, then there are follow up questions. She said that most people answer the question by saying “Its none of your business.” (This is Texas) The info they gather goes into their computer, and straight to the govt computers.
Actually, its not the doctors that are pushing this trend, its the government that is making them ask these questions.
ELAINE: You are not going to believe what happened to me at the doctors office today.< /SEINFELD >JERRY: Not the gown again.
ELAINE: No, no. I was looking at my chart and it said I was difficult. Why would they write that?
JERRY: They have gotten to know you.
Like I said on this same topic on an earlier thread this morning......lie about........then lie some more about it.
(Unless the intent is to advise me on caliber or bullet construction effectiveness based on post-mortem experience).
The onslaught of Marxist ideology——there is no agency in man.
We need to have the STATE control everything. THEY will decide everything. Just KEEP taking your meds and being happy with the bread and circuses we allow for the control of how you “feel” and what you “think”.
Don’t read Classics. Don’t learn history. Don’t work at finding Knowledge-—just believe what we teach in the schools and the agitprop in MSM.
Don’t become wise enough to understand “reality”. Stay in the Cave.....Listen to our programming. All just worthless White Noise to detract from the move for Absolute Power.
Now that we have obamacare, thanks to Roberts, everything is a health issue, making all liberal agendas much easier to attain.
Molon labe.
They’re just looking for an angle. This, the wildlife lead poisoning ploy, registering ammo, closing the “gun-show loophole” in order to prohibit private sales, all of these are just angles. It’s a game with these people.
Agreed, politely saying “no” is the best response.
Otherwise, comrade, your attitude will be noted by the forces of state security.
Just wait until patient profiles are used in NCIS background checks to deny gun purchases.
Public health experts are a social disease.
In particular, a mass-murdering political protection virus that has a symbiotic relationship with shrinks prescribing antidepressants.
Life is hard, Doctor. It’s harder when you’re stupid.
This article made me perform my own study, which suggested a near 100 percent correlation between plane crashes and passenger deaths. It’s no wonder when one realizes that more passengers drink when engaged in air travel than when using other modes of transportation.
