Now, as William Jacobson of the Legal Insurrection blog noted, Carbonites CEO David Friend conceded on a conference call that dropping Limbaugh deeply hurt the companys earnings.

I don’t remember if this is the client that soon realized they’d erred and tried to get back on the air , but Rush declined to renew them.

But haven’t some stations which carry El Rushbo suffered loss in advertising revenue noon to 3 pm?
Since the boycott I hear too many PSAs on WABC NYC 770 rather than real ads.

I hear too many PSAs It seems the number of PSA's have increased during 0bama's regime; how stupid and annoying they are, seems should be more directed to the lib stations, OH WAIT, there aren't any :-)

Sleep Train would be a local buy, Sacramento I believe, which Rush would have no influence over. Regarding PSA's on WABC; they're not on the network here, so again if true it's a local issue which are influenced by many things. With his national numbers up, there's no excuse for locals to be selling less.
I'm skeptical of the report.

Carbonite CEO: Dropping Rush Limbaugh Hurt Revenue More than Expected So what?
What difference should it make? It's not about principle, right?
Companies and corporations don't need principles.
Stop whining already.
Actions.
Consequences.

I’m pretty sure that company was Sleep Train, who Rush helped get started in Sacramento while he worked for KFBK.

NO....WOMEN DON’T HATE RUSH. Slut Fluke deserved what she got - and so did Carbonite.

Since the boycott I hear too many PSAs on WABC NYC 770 rather than real ads. That would be the result of the local commercial times as opposed to the national commercials, which remain essentially unchanged.

Same in here in the DFW metroplex on WBAP - lots and lots of PSAs. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the recent sale of the station to Cumulus.
