Has to be. Even an idiot has somebody nearby to show him how to hold a phone.

The phone cord could be photoshoped. But the whole scene looks staged.
Why are there two flags? Flag etiquette says you should only display one US flag during a program or event. Also, in an office setting the flag should be behind and to the right of someone seated at the desk.
If this is a "working" office why are there no mats for the chairs, and no marks in the carpet from the office chairs?
Why would you put the desk against one wall to the left, while the phone jack is apparently behind the photographer? Wouldn't you want the phone on the desk?
How come there is no shadow on the wall from the clock? Is it a flat cardboard cut-out? The shadows from the flags and the TV all indicate a light source off to the left - visible in the TV screen.
All these chairs around (at least three in view) and someone has to sit on the floor?
Too many oddities, me thinks it is staged and processed/altered.

This picture came out during the last campaign. It has been around for quite a while. Photoshopped or not? Who knows anymore. But it is believable, considering Obama’s attempt to enter the White House through a window instead of the door, and how he tried to raise that umbrella over a gate in New Orleans.
