I am at the Beck rally. I would guess crowd is somewhere between 50,000 and 60,000. Just getting started!!!
All the seats below the sky boxes are full...floor is full...only the seats above the sky boxes are roped off
All concessions open
And yes, no 30.06 signs anywhere
Gawd I love Texas
To bad you are there Uncle Slayton you could tell the Marine what a wussie he is.
Are you calling me a leftist?
More quotes
We cannot continue to squander our inheritance
We can not become America in name only
We must push and push and then push some more
We have to pass our inheritance to our children
There are those that like to be pushed and those that push themselves
History is not a bunch of dead guys, our history is alive and speaking to us now
No, but what you did to that freeper is leftist type stuff. Sorry if that hurts, but it is true.
Best line of the night
If I have one thing to say to government, don’t you dare get between Americans and their desire to help their fellow Americans and to heal this country
Correction, best line of the night
God is our Sovereign, and with Him the battle is already won.
Big finale now, then the fireworks!!!
Love that quote! Enjoy your time in Dallas.
I watched it on GBTV - it was really great! Very inspiring.
Fair nuff’...but poke me on the shoulder buddy...not in the eye!
ok...try not to be so sensitive. All I wrote was it was a lefty type of comment...not that you are that yourself. Thanks.
Considering I sat in traffic for over an hour to get in, I think you got the better deal! I found it quite inspiring also. Actually seeing and being part of the crowd really drove a point home to me that there are many many out there that are steadfast in the face of all the crap being thrust upon them by our current government.
Wow! Local television news, mostly the Dallas CBS affiliate is covering it. Evidently the rally attendees collected 11 semi trucks worth of food for delivery tomorrow. The food is going to stock major food pantries in 11 cities across the US. I parked in Lot 15 where they collected the food and they had a bunch left over after they filled the 11 semis. They needed more trucks.
The local stations really focused on the food collection part versus the rally itself.
I think that's an important point. The "Progressives" have an advantage over us because they control so much of the media, and people that are not really informed tend to think that is how most people think - so they go along with the "group-think" to be part of the in-crowd.
To take a view that runs against the popular culture as seen in the media requires a bit of courage, and seeing that many people go to the effort of paying for & traveling to these kinds of events REALLY is a big reinforcement. It must have been very exciting to be there in person!
My husband & I marched in the BIG 9/12 Tea Party March in Washington DC a few years ago (the one that some claimed a million people marched in) and it was so exciting to be part of a unified group of patriots like that - the only way I can describe it is a feeling of 'electricity'.
I know what you are describing, although this was the first time I really experienced it in person. It was “electric”. Five minutes before it was to start, the noise level started to crank up and a human wave started circling the stadium. There were at least two times Beck had to stop his speech because the cheering was overwhelming. I can’t imagine what Washington must have been like.
Black Marine next to me looks like he has something in his eye...
He does.....Love and Pride.
Amen to that.
Bless you & yours.
Stay safe.
Well I was wrong on the attendance. CBS is confirming attendance was over 65,000 people!
