Kenneth Peterson arrested on attack on 'Antichrist' neighbor
A Palm Bay man claiming that he was Jesus Christ used a crow bar and another weapon to threaten his neighbor, who he says was the Antichrist, according to police.
Local 6 has confirmed with Palm Bay police that Kenneth David Peterson, 51, was charged with aggravated stalking and aggravated assault on Thursday. Police were called to a home on Charles Boulevard to investigate a disturbance between neighbors.
Police said Peterson was claiming to Jesus Christ and was threatening his neighbor, who he said was the Antichrist. Police said that since February they have responded to the area at least 9 times. Peterson had been suspected of damaging property belonging to a neighbor, resulting in a temporary injunction being issued, according to court records.
Peterson’s next court date is August 16, records show. He is being held on $150,000 bond at the Brevard County Jail.
The nut had the wrong man, he should have been in front of the WH with the crowbar.

I’ve had neighbors who were the anti-Christ. But im no Jesus.

Odd how it’s the most violent ones who claim to be Jesus.
Makes me think they haven’t really read the whole Bible.
If the police had just nailed Peterson to a cross (and shot his dog) the first time they got a call, none of this would have happened.
He would have been more believable if he had attacked him with some carpenter’s tool. (Jesus was a cross maker, by the way.)
I’ve also had neighbors that would vie for the title, and I’m not Christ either. This country is chock full of nuts!
Doesnt sound like the Jesus Christ I know. The ground parting and swallowing the other guy up whole with flames and brimstone, maybe. But not a crowbar.
“Jesus Christ Swinging A Crowbar” shall now be my exclamation of surprise.
Now, to be fair, I have not heard of automatic crowbars capable of killing a dozen sitting ducks. What this country needs is an armed and trained populace willing to eliminate the threats before the threats can become mass murderers.
Imagine civilians as defacto swat teams. The criminals will think twice about raising their guns (or voice).

I often ask myself “What would Jesus do?” ,but I almost never come up with “attack someone with a crowbar” as an answer.
