If you don’t think liberal activists work these corporations to make such p.c. policies, you are nuts. The Brady bunch hit up all buinesses, backed by DNC and legal threats, to ban guns.
Conservatives need to push back. Few of their customers are liberals. We need to let them know. Don’t you remember when Clinton was pushing Smith and Wesson to obey his demands and they backed off when gun rights people kicked them in where the sun don’t shine.
It was not against state law (according to my sources - I am not a lawyer) for anyone to carry in this theater. Although the theater management requests patrons no carry weapons, it is not illegal for patrons to do so.
It is only illegal (trespassing) once the business owner requests the armed patron to leave and the patron chooses not to.
The company can have all the policy they want, but in Colorado the People have a right to carry. Open or concealed.
I DO think liberal activists encourage anti-gun policies, but in this case there was really nothing stopping anyone from packing.
Let’s encourage the attitude of responsibility and protection. People need to stop laying under cover expecting the ‘Government’ to save them (not directed at you, just in general).
I’m very familiar with the tactics of the Left in general and rather intimately with respect to civil arms in particular. In this case I don’t think a protest of Cinemark would provide a net positive political result.
There are times to strike and times to hold. In my opinion at this time we are best served by striking against the visible idiocy and politicization of the tragedy by the Left, than at the corporate owner of the venue where the tragedy occurred.
