Self | July 19, 2012 | PJ-Comix

Posted on 07/19/2012 8:26:07 PM PDT by PJ-Comix

In a few hours it will be July 20. I take note of this because I have noticed that the date of July 20 is a date in which some very unusual events have taken place.

July 20, 70 AD---Siege of Jerusalem by the Romans.

July 20, 1944---Operation Valkyrie. Assassination attempt on Hitler at his East Prussia HQ.

July 20, 1969---Man lands on the Moon.

July 20, 1973---Bruce Lee dies at age 32.

July 20, 1976---Viking I lander lands on Mars.

July 20, 1993---Vince Foster "commits suicide" in Ft. Marcy Park.

Seriously.....July 20, 1969 is THE date for me. Neil Armstrong, closely followed by Buzz Aldrin. Man.....men.....Americans.....walking on the moon. Incredible accomplishment. I’ll never, ever forget it.

Too bad so many have.

Funny you should ask...

For those who think Obama might be the beast, as mentioned in Rev 13, he begins his forty-second month of authority tomorrow.

Rev 13:5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months.

1754 - George Washington gives Ft Necessity to France
1776 - Declaration of Independence-US gains independence from Britain
1836 - Wisconsin Territory forms

1876 - 1st public exhibition of electric light in SF
1911 - Ty Cobb goes 0 for 4 & ends a 40 game hit streak
1936 - League of Nations starts sanctions against Italy
1942 - 1st American bombing mission over enemy-occupied Europe (WW II)

Americans.....walking on the moon

It is one of the greatest achievements in the history of the world.

My father worked at Rocketdyne on the F-1 rocket engine for the Saturn V.

1.52 million pounds of thrust.

The F-1 is still the most powerful rocket engine in the world.

I hate to be a downer on August 3 but July 20 definitely trumps that date. Just the Moon landing alone would do it but we also have those other significant dates. For some reason I am very aware of the July 20 date.
