It is fun, I’m glad some kids in Afghanistan can still manage to dance with twenty pounds of unnecessary cloth wrapped around them, but it has Zero to do with astronomy or the APoD. :’) Thanks Red_Devil 232.
Whoever owns the site “Astronomy Picture of the Day” is just hosting a video produced by this guy Matt who started out using his own money to travel around the world dancing with people. It is not sponsored NASA. He now gets some financing from some gum company. It does have something to do with the Planet Earth and the various people and cultures who occupy it.
