Good Lord, that really is heart breaking.
_____
I have been in that position so I can understand the stress that the LEO was under. However I think too many agency's have the policy of shoot first, ask questions later. Some of them will send a fully armed SWAT team out to make an arrest for a stack of over due tickets and then get the wrong house in the process, So care needs to be taken around my turf. Poor lady, I can understand her grief, my heart goes out to her. the punks will get a slap on the wrist.
Absolutely heart breaking. In this area, a cop does that and he’s liable to end up with bullet holes in him from dozens of citizens.
I won’t even begin to discuss what would happen if it were my dog that had been shot.
The first rule of policing anymore seems to be to shoot the dog.
Any dog. The criminal’s dog. The neighbor’s dog. The purse rat at the mall. etc.
I can’t say that this kind of thing instills much confidence when I see cops in public. You see so much stuff on You Tube with cops abusing people and you start to wonder who will protect us from the police?
Iif the gate was closed (as it should have been) this would be just a story about some hoodrats beating whitey.
Some of these idiot cops need to be beaten to bloody pulps, and put on public display as a warning for other cops who have no respect for citizens and their property. There are still good cops out there, and they need to put a stop to this nonsense.
... and just the worst and saddest thing I could see to end a lousy day. Poor, dear dog looked like my “Hoss”.
Dog would be alive if the owner had kept his/her dog locked in the yard.
