“Progressive” Insurance. The name matches the Big Brother tendencies.

I have a patent-pending ankle bracelet for swimming in fast-moving streams or places with a strong tide. It allows you to quickly attach a boat anchor so you won’t be swept away. Several of our testers have been found right where they were last seen, so it works. I’m currently seeking investors if anyone is interested.

In 44 years of driving I've had one at fault accident (a minor one,42 years ago) and have *never* gotten a ticket for a moving violation...but have gotten my share of parking tickets. ;-)
Folks like me should pay rock bottom rates even without this gizmo.

George Soros owns Progressive and Geico. Thats all you need to know right there. Berkshire Hathaway owns Geico. Progressive is a public company. Anybody can buy stock in either one.

Only Flo knows, LOL.
I’m sure they have algorithms which analyze acceleration rate, braking rate, throttle %, etc
The trucking fleets are all using similar strategy.
To: nascarnation
I never trusted her.
I imagine it has some kind of accelerometer device that activates itself after a rapid start or stop.

We use Safeco, they have been good to us, no issues and they are fair on their prices.

It's reading your OBD data from the data connector under the dash.

GEICO hated radar detectors.

Does it send real time data to Progressive (how?) or does it just record data that they retrieve later?
