To insert an image you use this

<img src = “put your link here” (and then add a right carrot) or greater than sign. Can’t put it here or FR will read it as HTML.

There is also a HTML guide on here somewhere.

Photobucket But we aren't to link photos from others accounts (hotlink/steal bandwidth) If you use photobucket to upload your images to--hover over image and select html code and paste. That's the easy/lazy way. :)

Easier done than said, once you get the hang of it.

1: Sign up for a free photobucket acct.

2: Upload your pix.

3: Once you have done that and view your album, under every picture four different html codes will be available. One will be for bulletin boards (usually an “img” prefix and suffix will show). The others are for...whatever. Click on the one that starts with “a=href” which will copy the code into your clipboard automatically...you don’t have to do Ctrl-C or anything. It will show “copied” as an indication that it has worked.

Then just paste (ctrl-V) or, right-click-paste the copied code into your FR post. Every forum that lets you post pix does it in slightly different ways, but the varaiations are few. You just have the try it a few different ways to see which works.

Keep in mind that once you have ANY kind of html in your FR post, you will have to delineate ALL paragraph breaks and the like. FR assumes that if you know a little html, it will cheerfully expect you to know A LOT of html.

Incidentally, a very useful little piece of software is MWsnap (search for it) which will allow you to crop and save almost ANY square or rectangle of pix information you can see on your screen. You can then save that saved rectangle. You will of course have to name it something. You can then upload that pix to your new photobucket acct. Then get the a=href code, then paste it here on FR. Easy.
