Windows Phone should be the death of the Blackberry w/email servers. As an MCSE I love the windows interface on my windows 7 phone over Apple, Android and Blackberry. If I have to prolong my contract to upgrade, so be it. The email alone, but together coupled with the O/S and similiar visuals to the computer O/S makes it a winner in my book.

I gather you don’t mind spending money to move to a Windows 8 phone 3rd quarter of this year.
But what about the poor folks who bought Windows Phone 7 in good faith, believing that Microsoft would support their smart phone? Will they all be forced to PAY additional to get a Windows Phone 8 now?
Will their current Windows Phone 7 be rendered totally obsolete with tech support thrown out the window?
Like I've been saying, Microsoft had better already have a update to Microsoft Systems Center in beta that already can manage all aspects of Windows 8 phones and tablets. An update for Exchange 2010 and even Active Directory should already be in the works to support these devices. Forefront should already be modified to handle the phone connections. I haven't heard an inkling any of this, but if it isn't happening then some Microsoft managers need to be fired immediately for their lack of foresight.

I don't know how having an MCSE can get someone to like that dreadful interface, but how does it feel to get screwed? Microsoft claimed Windows 7 was the best, the thing that made it better than the iPhone, the future of phones, then Microsoft abandoned it. They were even pushing it as they were working on making Windows 8 incompatible -- they knew they were going to orphan it and its users, but still wanted your money so they didn't tell you. I hope you didn't buy a lot of apps for it.
