Well, if they were supposed to protect the flight they failed. If they were there to comfort the dead, I guess they did what they could. Not exactly sure what spiritualism is but it sounds a bit wacky.

What’s her contention? That the angels arrived too late to actually guard the people while they were still alive, so they contented themselves with guarding the wreckage? Guarding it from what exactly? Were the angels there to shoot looters?
