RASMUSSEN: ROMNEY UP ANOTHER POINT TODAY, 47% to 44%
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 7/3/12 | Rasmussen

Posted on 07/03/2012 7:05:29 AM PDT by MrChips

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows Mitt Romney attracting 47% of the vote, while President Obama earns 44%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

Last week, the president received an immediate bounce following the Supreme Court ruling on his health care law. On the night of the ruling, the single night poll results were by far the best recorded for Obama in many months. Over the past few days, the numbers have returned to where they’ve been for most of the past month

More cynicism. Sigh. Anything or anyone who gets Obama out of office is a good development.

Well, let's just for a moment predict that he doesn't. What then? As Karl Malden would ask, "What'll you do... what WILL you DO?"

” - - - On the night of the ruling, the single night poll results were by far the best recorded for Obama in many months.”

Lemme see now, - - - Obama poll count up after a big boost by Traitor John.

Hmmmmmmmmm, - - - - - - - - ? What did Traitor John get in return?

BTW Romney, since you are STILL within the 3 to 4 % margin of error, don’t make any plans from September on as we are going to DUMP you in Tampa.

All it takes is a first Ballot ABSTAIN vote.

Vote, BROOM, done.

I had my moment with the idea of going with a third party... then came John “I wanna legislate” Roberts.

Rasmussen said the intensity of GOP voters are off the charts and he never seen this much ever in his polling.

While I trust Rasmussen more than any other pollster, I just saw a report on FOX saying a new Gallup poll shows Obama up 48%-43%. I do not know how ANYONE who is not blind or crazy could possibly think that Obama deserves another term. The story just before the one on the poll was about the fact that today Obama is in the process of cutting our nuclear arsenal. He is trying to do as much damage as he possibly can while he has the power to do so!

I’ve been saying this for a long time now, OBAMA has a 42-43% national MAXIMUM in the popular vote, PERIOD. That’s with a perfect campaign, and his campaign is nowhere near perfection.

His “victory” on health care probably just ensured him no more than 40% peak if he runs a perfect campaign now, and reality is he can’t run a perfect campaign because the guys beyond an amateur politician and campaigner.

He’s never had to face a true race in his life, or run on any sort of record... I believed before the election day he’d be LUCKY to be over 40%.. today I don’t think its even possible for him to get to 40%.

Sorry that should read:

I believed before the health care ruling he’d be lucking to see 40% on election day, today I don’t think he can get to 40%.

I highly doubt Romney's HAND PICKED delegates are going to abstain from voting for him .

Get back to reality, as unpalatable as Romney is, he is and will be the only alternative to Obama. He is our only hope.

Either come in for the big win or drop it all together, but this incessant insanity about Romney's delegates going rogue is stupid and unhelpful!!

I have never trusted Gallup. In past elections they have had some pretty wide variances. Their presidential tracking poll is (A) based on 2008 models, not 2010, and (B) based on a 7 day lagging average, not 3 like Rasmussen and (3) based on registered voters, not likely voters.

And who is going to take his place, Ron Paul? You think Ron Paul can beat Obama you are IN FREAKING SANE. If that happens, and the Ron Paul MORONS take over the convention you are going to see revolution on thiis country, and your side will lose. YOU ARE NOT IN THE MAJORITY so leave my party alone.

I guess you haven’t been paying attention. The PaulBots, acting like spoiled children and OWSers, have taken over State GOP Conventions and have been electing delegates who promise to vote for Paul on the first ballot. they are insane.

But, but, what about the war on women and homosexual marriage? On both of those issues, Obama has picked winning issues which have given him strong support, according to the liberals.................

Newsweek’s cover alone, showing Obama with a halo, being praised as America’s first gay president, should be enough to put him over the top in middle America.. (sarcasm)

Ain't gonna happen. When you vote in a primary in most instances you vote for a slate of predetermined delegates. For example I know people in Ohio who are delegates for Romney and some who are delegates for Santorum. they are pre set and will vote on the first ballot for their man.

The Paul Tards are just that, RETARDS who are one bong hit away from permanent brain damage.

You will see a smooth and well oiled convention with no surprises. Romney won the nomination fair if not square and he is the nominee.

As for any surprises, a man of Romney's wealth and power, and both are considerable, doesn't do surprises. He didn't spend the last six years and millions of dollars to be surprised at his greatest moment

Obama has completely alienated the blue dog democrat, they won’t all abandon him, but he has lost so many of them he has no chance of winning the election.. He stands ZERO chance in the south, and the rust belt with the exception of MN and IL are lost to him as well.

Honestly, with the way he’s been running his campaign, I think he’s going to wind up losing states that folks today believe are locks for him as well.

I’ve never in my life seen such an inept politician, not suprised at all that he is, just amazing how completely inept this guy and those around him are.

Some, even on here, prefer living in fantasy land.

Romney is the nominee. Period.

He is going to have a tough time winning in November IMO, but he has a shot.

All the other fantasy candidates that some are pining for have zero shot because they have already either lost in the primaries, or they didn’t even bother to run at all.
