Noah did, along with his family - eight total, plus the animals. We are all here because he and those with him survived.
Now, I suggest we survive on our terms...not ending civilization, but doing so as our Founding Fathers did it...to whatever extent necessary to do so.
May God be with us, as He was with Noah, and as He was with our Founders.

There is a great book on the end of civilization called THE EARTH ABIDES written in the 40s. Worthwhile read. Spans generations. Not a zombie book. Thoughtful.

Where families and neighbors stick together, civilization doesn’t end. Where they don’t, it does.
Katrina was a good example of both cases. New Orleans where people went crazy and it looked like Mad Maxx, and the rest of the gulf coast where people stuck together.
