Shes a prisoner in her own home.
Katie Holmes fears she cant take one step without a Scientology goon following her every move in a heavy- handed intimidation attempt, multiple sources close to the actress told The Post yesterday.
The pretty actress last night was holed up in her Chelsea pad terrified that soon-to-be-ex-hubby Tom Cruise might kidnap their little girl, law-enforcement sources said.
Holmes told another building resident of her abduction fear and that neighbor called police on Friday, sources said.
But without Holmes phoning in the report herself and Cruise known to be 2,600 miles away shooting a movie in Iceland police couldnt take any action.
Managers at Holmes plush Seventh Avenue building, though, have been put on alert for Cruise or any strangers who might want to get inside, the sources said.
Holmes, who filed for divorce from superstar Scientologist actor Cruise last week, knew this was coming, sources said.
Katie saw all the pressure. They [Scientologists] are professionals at pressuring people to be quiet, said a friend of the actress after her bombshell divorce filing in Manhattan last week. Thats why she filed for divorce in secret.
A team of beefy armed men parked themselves in a white Cadillac Escalade outside Holmes place all day yesterday, snapping pictures of people outside the building and demanding to know who they were.
Cops finally pulled up in a marked NYPD squad car behind the SUV and checked out its Tennessee license plates. The officers said they were acting on complaints of suspicious activity in a white Escalade but did not elaborate. They spent about 15 minutes eyeing the SUV before leaving. At least two of the five men sitting in the SUV were clearly packing heat.

She is right to be afraid. They have a long history of this sort of thing. Pray for her safety.
I don’t know much about Hell, but I am fairly certain that it has an L. Ron Hubbard wing...
Ah so it was the scientology that made her flee. I hope that she is adequately frightened. These are not nice people and will do everything they can to keep her voice in the off position.
I had a friend that went through this when he left Scientology, as did his mother. They were followed and threatned by the so called church.
She’ll be declared an “SP” (suppressive person) and be “Fair Gamed”. I hope she has good security.

She didn’t think about this before she left Catholicism, and presumably renounced Christ, to marry a cultist nut?
Not much sympathy for her here.
OMG. I thought they had a financial arrangement and that one day he would let her go. He will get visitation one day. How scary for her.
Holmes has a daddy who has his own power and legal expertise which should thwart the usual viciousness of the nuts
it has become fairly obvious that Scientology in Hollywood largely exists to orchestrate cover for big bank queer stars living as straights
vile people
i feel sorry for the adopted kids...stuck with Cruise
sick sick sick
my mom...long gone now...her best friend from growing up as we did in Mississippi moved to Dallas and became a very early convert to Scientology...late 1950s...left her husband and young kids...moved to California...when she would visit I remember that freaky stare they do...Hubbard must have really stressed to never break eye contact...and they don't..lol
her daughter went freak too...but not the son...who was a buddy of mine into adulthood
oil and gas man last i heard
Were the guys in the Escalade Scientologists, or a private bodyguard team brought in to protect Holmes? Their actions are more consistant with people watching for Scientologists who might be lurking around.
She can certainly afford such a team. Commentators on the radio this morning were talking about how this might be the end of Scientology, and she’s well positioned to take them down. If the Scientologists are smart they’ll just pay her off and let her take her child and walk away in peace. We’ll see ...
Need help: should I even care?
“I did audit sessions with Tom Cruise from 2001-2004, and I can tell you that I have a friend that has been providing Katie Holmes’ family information for years about the iron grip the Church of Scientology has on Tom Cruise’s family and professional life. This has been going on for at least four years,” Rathbun told Radar Online.”
