You'll never get this. What 1960's TV show was the first to mention the Vietnam War? Nope, not Dick Van Dyke. Nope, not Laugh-In. Nope, not the Smothers Brothers. You'll never get it.

“Turkey Day” was my favorite episode. As you may recall, Jed didn’t have heart to behead the Turkey that Granny was going to cook so she asked Jethro to go “dress the turkey”. I guess Jed had developed somewhat of a fondness for the critter because Ellie had made him part of the family. She even taught him to shake hands.
As usual, Jethro did a bang up job and dressed him in a Tuxedo. Jethro was happy and told Granny, “He shook my hand”
