Well just 3 more episodes of Eureka... Pain full season.. As for Futurama, I'm done with that show, I didn't see it but my wife told me...
For your viewing pleasure:
Plan 9 From Outer Space. The worst SciFi movie ever.. Ed Wood makes Roger Corman looks like a genius..

So far, I am liking this season of Falling Skies better than last season. I liked it last year; but, I think it is just a bit more interesting, at least for the first few episodes.

It was doing OK until they decided to go on a Trail of Tears (to beat the American Indian analogy until it bleeds) to Charleston, South Carolina.

Just for fun I watched SYFY network’s original movie “Bigfoot” this morning. It was actually a pretty good campy production with many of the actors being from old time TV shows - Partridge Family (Bonaduce), Brady Bunch (oldest boy in the show - I forget his name), WKRP (Dr. Johnny Fever).
At first I was afraid it was going to be a weak attempt at a “statement movie”...but the giant Bigfoot turns out to be apolitical and slaughters both tree huggers and evil capitalists with equal zeal. Excellent cameo by Alice Cooper who has some funny lines prior to running afoul of the monster.

Eureka had potential this year but ... Not as good as it should be. Wen made a poor Senator Kinsey and Beverley’s organization was a poor NID. We didn’t even have a decent Col Maybourne. For Jack to shoot or kick his ass.

“Bigfoot” also had Sherilynn Fenn, an 80s-90s smokin’ movie hottie.

National Geographic Channel has been advertising their alien hunters type program.
I was surfing and landed on it. It was pathetic. It was the alien version of SyFy’s Ghost Hunters:
‘..uhh what was that?’
‘Did you hear that?’
‘What?’
‘Over there.’
All in greenscope night vision, of course.
I watched about 5 minutes and returned to my channel surfing.

Cool.
I'm enjoying Falling Skies, but I have to see I was disappointed by the ending of the latest episode, probably because I predicted that they'd go with the nonsensical Hollywood ending (which might have made sense 50 years ago, if writers back then had written it) and they did. It's the end of the frickin' world for all intents and purposes and these little splinter groups that go off on their own are accepting death because they're living by scavenging what little supplies remain. It's not like they took up farming and fishing or something.

The main jumping shark was putting Holly in an artificially grown body but the straw that broke the camel's back was when they started talking about fixing Global Warming. I had it in tivo and erased it when I saw where it was going.
