Wow! I bet a bunch of cultural anthropologists would value your information!
Wise man.
Guns don’t kill people. Trees kill people. Ack!
P.S. Good to see you again!
“Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can’t help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime: the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.”
—Robert A. Heinlein, *Time Enough For Love*
I guess they don’t even have street smarts....
When in Vegas, play the game with the best odds,....buy stock in the casino.
What percentage of the winners were poor before they won the lotto?
“The lottery isnt racist but it does amount to a regressive tax. I voted against it and have never played it, and never will.”
Same here. I’m 62 and have never bought a single lottery ticket for myself.
I have bought a [very] few for others, at their request, using their money.
But have never given the state a single dollar of my own money towards such frivolity.
I play the lottery, know the odds, know that it is a tax, but it is all VOLUNTARY.....and someday I will be a millionaire....so there!
Do they think blacks are too dumb to understand the odds of winning?they sure don’t think too much of their average black constituents. I’d be freaking pissed and offended if someone talked about me like that.
If it’s now racist because you don’t win as often as you think you should, then it has to be racist to everyone who feels that way. All the casinos around the world are racist to every customer who loses, I guess. White, black, Asian, etc.
Maybe the lottery commercials should have two end screens that show for a few seconds each:
1. Playing the lottery is voluntary. Unlike health insurance, you are not required to buy any tickets.
2. Do not play the lottery if you are poor. Do not piss away what little money you have.
